1. Who is responsible
The controller of personal data collected through houseofgonia.com is ASAP HUB SRL, a limited liability company registered in Romania, with its registered office at Păuleștii Noi 118A2, Prahova County, Romania, Trade Register no. J29/1261/2017, tax identification code RO37666394, trading as House of Gonia (“House of Gonia”, “we”). You can contact us about your data at office@houseofgonia.com or +40 758 059 399.
2. What we collect and why
2.1. Order requests
When you send an order request we receive your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, the pieces and options you chose and any notes you add. We use them to answer your request, agree and perform the contract, deliver your order and handle returns and guarantee claims. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Once an order is concluded, invoices and related records are kept as required by accounting and tax law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
2.2. Correspondence
When you write to us or call us, we use your contact details and messages to answer you: to take steps you ask for before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or on the basis of our legitimate interest in replying to you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2.3. Visiting the Website
Our hosting provider automatically processes the technical data needed to deliver the Website and keep it secure, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are viewed. It does not use cookies, does not identify you and does not follow you across other websites; we only see aggregated figures.
3. Cookies and local storage
The Website does not use cookies, and there are no advertising or tracking cookies of any kind.
Your bag is kept in your browser’s local storage, under the name “gonia-cart”, so that it is still there when you come back. It stays on your device, is sent to us only when you send an order request, and is removed when you empty the bag or clear your browser data. Because it is strictly necessary for the service you ask for, it does not require consent.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers who help us run the shop, under agreements that oblige them to protect it:
- Vercel Inc. — hosting of the Website and anonymous visit statistics
- Resend — sending the order emails and receiving messages sent to our address, in its EU region
- Google — the mailbox in which we receive orders and correspondence
- Courier companies — delivery of your order (name, address, phone number)
- Our accountant and public authorities — where the law requires it
5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep data
- Order requests that do not become an order: up to 12 months.
- Orders: for the duration of the contract and of the legal guarantee; accounting records for 10 years, as required by law.
- Correspondence: up to 3 years from the last message.
- Hosting logs: for the short period set by the hosting provider, for security.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to office@houseofgonia.com; we answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP).
The Website is not intended for children under 16, and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
8. Security
The Website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to order data is limited to the people who handle your order, and we ask our providers for the same care.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy; the current version is always published on this page.
